CHICAGO - Big Ten Football Media Days begin today at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago. It's going to be a busy day in the Windy City and IUHoosiers.com will give readers a comprehensive recap at the end of the day. Here are a few of the events happening today.

    - Director of Athletics Fred Glass will have a press availability at 10 a.m. CT to give an update on all things related to Indiana Athletics. Expect details on the progress of the new North End Zone, the department's plans to improve the gameday experience and other initiatives.

    - Bill Lynch will address the media at 12:15 p.m. Readers enjoying the afternoon off can catch the press conference on the Big Ten Network.

    - Jammie Kirlew, Will Patterson and Ben Chappell will be on hand to answer questions later in the afternoon. Considering the aggregate 3.5 GPA between the trio, Indiana might have the most quotable contingent in Chicago.

    - There are also dozens of meetings behind the scenes. Schools swap marketing ideas, athletic directors meet and hundreds of sportswriters contribute copious amounts of money to the local economy. It's as much a convention as it is an opportunity to talk to coaches and athletes.

    - Preseason awards and predictions will be released.

Stay tuned to IUHoosiers.com for complete coverage of the Hoosiers at Big Ten Football Media Days.
