BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Returning to the field Thursday morning, the Indiana football team completed its eighth camp practice at the IU Practice Fields. The Hoosiers will hold their second two-a-day tomorrow and scrimmage on Saturday.

IUHoosiers.com's Jeremy Gray caught up with head coach Kevin Wilson, wide receiver Kofi Hughes, safety Greg Heban and kicker Mitch Ewald after practice:

Hughes became the 35th Hoosier to surpass 1,000 career yards as a senior in 2012 and is 24th all-time with 1,217 yards. He finished third on the team with 43 receptions, 639 yards and 58.1 yards per game and was second with a 14.9 average per catch to go along with three touchdowns.

Heban, a fifth-year senior, carded second team All-Big Ten honors from 247Sports.com last year. He earned Indiana's Teammate of the Year award and was also an Academic All-Big Ten selection.

Ewald is tied for third on IU's career list with 44 field goals, fourth with 105 extra points and sixth with 237 total points. The fifth-year senior is the school's all-time career field goal percentage leader, connecting on 44-of-55 (80.0 percent), with two blocked.

The Hoosiers host eight games at Memorial Stadium this season and open against Indiana State on Thursday, Aug. 29. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on BTN.
