Camped Out - Defensive Tackles

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Junior defensive tackles Larry Black, Jr., Mick Mentzer, Adam Replogle and Nicholas Sliger make up one of the strongest and deepest units in the Big Ten. The quartet is looking forward to the 2011 season under new defensive tackles coach Mark Hagen.
Black played in all 12 games with four starts and made 15 tackles with one sack, 2.5 tackles for loss and three quarterback hurries in 2010. Replogle started all 12 games with four starts at defensive end and eight at defensive tackle. He led all IU defensive tackles with 32 tackles and two sacks and added 3.5 tackles for loss, three quarterback hurries and one pass breakup.
Mentzer started 11 times and played in all 12 games. He posted 20 tackles with one sack, four tackles for loss, four passes broken up and three quarterback hurries. Sliger appeared in 11 games with one start at Western Kentucky and posted nine tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss on the year.

Indiana's 2011 schedule kicks off with a contest against in-state foe Ball State on Sept. 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Hoosiers then host Virginia on Sept. 10 and South Carolina State on Sept. 17.
Home conference games include Penn State on Oct. 1, Illinois on Oct. 8, Northwestern on Oct. 29, and the Old Oaken Bucket game vs. Purdue on Nov. 26.
