Throughout the 2007 Training Camp, IUHOOSIERS.com will sit down and get to know some of the Hoosier football players a little better. Thursday's chat is with junior running back and kick returner Marcus Thigpen.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
"I'd probably go to Hawaii. I've heard it's nice there, I've never been."

What is something about you that would surprise most people?
    "I'm a good bowler. I average about a 200."

What class are you looking forward to most this semester?
"My acting class. I want to do a little acting when I get older."

Which teammate has the best sense of humor?
"I have two. James Bailey and Chris Phillips are both just funny all around."

If you weren't playing football, what sport would you be playing?
"Probably basketball...I'm pretty good at basketball but my height interferes with me playing basketball. I play the point when I play pick-up."

What game are you looking forward to most this season?
"I'd have to say Iowa again. We had a big upset last year but I wasn't really a part of it because I got hurt, so I'm looking forward to that."

Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
"Lance Bennett, our kickoff returner from last year. Spiritually, he's turned my life around and just got me going in the right direction. He's been like the big brother I never had."

What is your favorite place on campus to go to relax?
"The locker room. It's a good place to just chill."

    What is your favorite food?
    "I love seafood, crab legs."

Do you have any pregame superstitions?
"Last year I used to pray with Lance all the time, but this year I don't know what it's going to be."
