    IUHOOSIERS.com is sitting down and getting to know some of the Hoosier football players a little better. Today's chat is with freshman wide receiver Matt Ernest.

    If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
    "Jamaica. I have been there once before and it was awesome. I loved it."

    What is something about you that would surprise most people?
    "I'm pretty big into ping-pong. I would play in my basement and get pretty competitive with my friends."

    If you weren't playing football, what sport would you be playing?
    "Baseball."

    Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
    "My brother. He has more talent than me, but he has had some injuries that have held him back so he hasn't had the same amount of opportunities. But he has kept a positive outlook on things."

    Do you have any pregame superstitions?
    "I'm not very superstitious, I just like to go out and play."

    What is your favorite TV show?
    "The top 10 on SportsCenter."

    Who has been the most helpful in your transition into Indiana so far?
    "It has been a combination of everyone, from the other receivers to the rest of the team, the coaches and my family."

    What is your favorite food?
    "We have these Italian Beef sandwiches that are really good."

    What class are you looking forward to most this semester? > "Billiards. I'm pretty excited for that. I like to do all those small sports like that." What has been the biggest difference between high school football and college football, so far?
    "This is every day. In high school we would get a couple days off here and there. You don't get breaks here, you have practice every day, but I enjoy it. That's why you play football in college."
