Hoosiers Return to Practice this Afternoon
Bloomington, Ind. -- Monday marked the first day of class for Indiana University-Bloomington students and a well-deserved day off from practice for the Indiana football squad. Today, the Hoosiers will return to the practice field in preparation for next Thursday's opener at North Carolina State. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. EST/7:30 p.m. EDT.
On Monday, head coach Cam Cameron announced that sophomore Colin Christopher has moved from offensive guard to defensive tackle and that redshirt freshman Jason Fryar will move from defensive tackle to offensive tackle.
This week will also keep IU's players and coaches busy with two annual kickoff luncheons, the Cam Cameron Pigskin Preview, which will be held at the Westin in Indianapolis on Wednesday, and the Bloomington Football Kickoff Luncheon, which will be held at the Bloomington Convention Center on Thursday.
This week, Indiana will hold closed practices on Tuesday and Wednesday in preparation for Thursday evening's closed scrimmage. Cameron will hold his weekly press conference on Friday at 12:30 p.m. EST.
