As a homegrown Hoosier, what are your thoughts on starting the season today against an in-state foe like Indiana State?
"It's really great, especially being my last year. Going out here and setting the tone against Indiana State would mean a lot to all of us. Not just us seniors, but the whole team."

Excited to have eight home games in front of the Hoosier fans in your senior season?
"For sure. Having eight home games as seniors in our last go, it's a great thing. We have to go out and capitalize and make some plays."

You mentioned it as a senior being your last year, what are your feelings going into this final campaign?
"I'm excited to go out there and give it all I got for my last year. I owe it to the fans. I owe it to my team. I owe it to my family. I owe it to everybody. I need to come out and play to the highest of my abilities."

Indiana has a legitimate shot at having five guys with 100 catches and 1,000 receiving yards on the roster by the end of the season. Talk about the depth and talent of this current receiving group. "We have a lot of receives, and skill position guys that can play out there. We've got tight ends that can catch the ball. We've got a lot of weapons out there. Our coaches are doing a great job of using those weapons and we're out here every day getting better as a team."

    Favorite helmet?
"I like the ones with the Indiana state flag on it. We're the Hoosiers. It's the Hoosier State. We are representing our state and the name on the front of our jerseys."
