Hoosiers Discuss Opening Win, UMass
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana rushed for 171 yards in its season-opening victory over Indiana State. Sophomore D'Angelo Roberts paced the Hoosiers with 67 yards in his second career start.
Making his collegiate debut, true freshman Tevin Coleman added 48 yards on just seven carries (6.9 average). Junior Stephen Houston scored from 15 yards out on his first rush and finished with 33 yards.

Junior college transfers David Cooper and Jacarri Alexander started alongside each other in their Hoosier debuts. Cooper, a sophomore middle linebacker, shared second on the team with seven stops, including one tackle for loss.
