Fans Who Attended Indiana State Game to Receive "Double Win" Concession Stand Vouchers for Navy Game
Sep 5, 2013
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - IU Athletics announced today that football fans who attended the Indiana State game on August 29th will receive concession stand vouchers as a result of the team garnering a "double win" by earning more than 50 points and 8 defensive stops. The Hoosiers defeated the Sycamores 73-35 with 14 defensive stops (also called tap outs). The four-dollar vouchers will be in the form of "Kevin Kash" currency in honor of Head Football Coach Kevin Wilson.
"Having a tremendous crowd at Memorial Stadium makes such a huge impact on football gamedays," said Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass. "The Hoosier Football Double Win is just one of many gameday enhancements we've made this year to get people excited about the season and gamedays at Memorial Stadium. We're excited that the team has already achieved its first Double Win and are looking forward to a exciting season."
Prior to the season, IU Athletics introduced the Hoosier Football Double Win. When IU Football earns 50 or more points and 8 or more tap outs at home games, every Hoosier fan in attendance will be rewarded with four dollars of free concessions at the next home match up. To be eligible, IU Football fans must be present at the games (with tickets scanned upon entry) to earn the reward.
Hoosier football ticket holders that were present at the Indiana State game were notified by email this morning of their eligibility to receive special $4 "Kevin Kash" concession vouchers at the IU vs. Navy game on Saturday, September 7th. The value of the voucher is equal to the cost of a hot dog, but may be used for any single concession stand item.
Hoosier fans may bring their Indiana State ticket stub or confirmation email to tables located on the both the east and west concourses inside Memorial Stadium this Saturday to receive their IU vs. Navy game concession voucher.
