Iowa Game Set For Noon on Big Ten Network

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana's game against Iowa on Saturday, Oct. 11, will kick off at noon EDT at Memorial Stadium and will be televised on the Big Ten Network, it was announced today. All games can also be heard on the statewide IU Radio Network (Don Fischer, Pete Compise and Joe Smith).
Game times are predicated on the Big Ten Conference television agreement with ABC, the Big Ten Network, ESPN and ESPN2 and are often not announced until 12 days before kickoff.
Hitting the road for the first time in 2008, the Indiana football team travels to Minneapolis for a showdown with Minnesota for the final time at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome (64,712) on Saturday, Oct. 4. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CDT/noon EDT and the game will be televised by the Big Ten Network.
The Hoosiers are coming off a 42-29 defeat to Michigan State in their Big Ten opener. Senior running back Marcus Thigpen rushed for 113 yards and two scores to go along with 94 receiving yards and one TD. He finished the contest with 267 all-purpose yards, which ranks 10th in IU history.
