BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University Athletics reached out to the Bloomington community when it visited with the entire student body from Fairview Elementary School at Butler Park. Head football coach Bill Lynch and head women's soccer coach Mick Lyon joined student-athletes from their respective programs to read to the thrilled young students.

Quarterback Ben Chappell and offensive lineman Aaron Price represented the football program, while Kristin Arnold, Leigh Anne Cummings and Liz Holby appeared on behalf of the women's soccer program. The student-athletes spent part of their busy afternoons with the youngsters, ranging from kindergarten through sixth grade.

Chappell and Price, Bloomington natives and South High School graduates, enjoyed the opportunity.

"It was a fun time and I'm glad we did it," Price said. "Being a Bloomington native, I'm happy to give back to the kids in the community any chance I receive."

"The football program has done a great job getting out and being active in the community. It is fulfilling and rewarding each and every time," Chappell said.
