    Hoosiers Announce Northwestern Game Captains

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana head football coach Bill Lynch announced linebacker Matt Mayberry, safety Austin Thomas, quarterback Ben Chappell and wide receiver Mitchell Evans will serve as game captains when the Hoosiers travel to Northwestern on Saturday. Mayberry and Chappell were named captains for the third time this season, while Thomas and Evans earned their second honor.

    Lynch will announce captains prior to each game. The team will select this year's permanent captains upon the conclusion of the season.

    Embarking on a brief two-game road trip, the Indiana football team (4-3, 1-2 Big Ten) faces Northwestern (4-3, 1-2 Big Ten) in Evanston, Ill. The Hoosiers and Wildcats will meet at Ryan Field (47,130). Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CDT/noon EDT and the game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

    Ari Wolfe will handle play-by-play duties and he will be joined by analyst Mark Campbell and sideline reporter Mike Hall. All games can also be heard on the statewide IU Radio Network with Don Fischer (play-by-play), Pete Compise (analyst) and Joe Smith (pre-game, halftime and post-game) on the call.
