Wisconsin Game Set for Noon on Big Ten Network
Oct. 27, 2008
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana's game against Wisconsin on Saturday, Nov. 8, will kick off at noon at Memorial Stadium and will be televised by the Big Ten Network. All games can also be heard on the statewide IU Radio Network (Don Fischer, Pete Compise and Joe Smith). The contest is the home finale for the Hoosiers in 2008.
Game times are predicated on the Big Ten Conference television agreement with ABC, the Big Ten Network, ESPN and ESPN2 and are often not announced until 12 days before kickoff.
Facing its final non-conference foe this season, the Indiana football team hosts Central Michigan at Memorial Stadium (49,225). Kickoff is set for noon EDT on Saturday, Nov. 1, and the game will be televised by the Big Ten Network, with Mark Neely, Chris Martin and Glen Mason on the call.
The Hoosiers are coming off their first Big Ten victory of the season after dropping Northwestern, the 22nd-ranked team in the BCS, 21-19. Sophomore Ben Chappell earned his first victory as a starting quarterback, as the Hoosiers won for the fourth time in their last five Homecomings. He threw for 219 yards on 21-of-34 with one passing and one rushing TD. True freshman Tandon Doss posted his first 100-yard game with 107 yards on a career-high eight receptions with one score.
