BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Former Hoosier Kris Dielman (1999-02) was selected as one the Greatest San Diego Chargers of all-time. Dielman was one of four offensive guards and 53 players and coaches selected in celebration of the team's 50th anniversary season.

A two-time honorable mention All-Big Ten at IU, Dielman played both tight end and defensive tackle. He was named the team's most valuable player in 2002 after leading the Hoosiers with five sacks and 14 tackles for loss.

The Goshen, Ind., native finished his career with 62 tackles in 23 games with the defense. Dielman posted 26 catches for 361 yards and five touchdowns at tight end.

In addition to Dielman, former Hoosier Earl Faison (1958-60) was recognized as one of three defensive ends on the team. Faison, a third team All-America selection in 1960, led the Hoosiers in receiving that season with seven receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

The previous year he paced IU with three TDs while tallying 13 catches for 192 yards. Faison also scored a 92-yard field goal on a blocked field to give Indiana a 6-0 win over Michigan State on Nov. 8, 1958.
