    Hoosiers Lose in Tiebreaker to No. 2 seed Iowa in Consolation Play

    BRADENTON, Fla. - The No. 3 seed Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team was defeated by No. 2 seed Iowa by result of a combined margin of victory tiebreaker after the two teams were knotted at 3-3 in consolation play to round out the Big Ten Match Play Championship at The Concession GC.

    The trio of senior David Erdy and juniors Brant Peaper and Corey Ziedonis notched the three Hoosier wins against the Hawkeyes.

    Erdy triumped over Joseph Winslow, 3&2, to earn a 1-0-1 record at the event. Peaper and Ziedonis never trailed in their matchups against Iowa, each finishing the weekend with 1-1-0 marks.

    The Hoosiers will be back in action at The Concession GC for the second time on March 18-20 at the Collegiate Match Play Championship.
