Day One Complete at Wolf Run Intercollegiate

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. - The Indiana men's golf team wrapped up the first day of competition at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate in sixth place after rounds of 303 and 298 on Saturday at Wolf Run Golf Club. David Mills was the top performer on the day for the Hoosiers, carding two rounds of 3-over par 74 to tie for 14th place individually.
Freshman Keegan Vea, competing only as an individual, is in 10th place after posting an opening round 70 and then following that up with a 76 in the afternoon.
Max Kollin opened with a 77 in his first round before shaving four strokes off that total on his way to a 73 in his second round, putting him in a tie for 22nd individually. Will Seger also improved his first round score of 81 by eight strokes to a 73 in round two and is tied for 39th place.
Nicholas Grubnich opened with a 74 - including nearly holing out from the fairway on the 18th hole of his first round - before posting an 80 in his second round to join Kollin in a tie for 39th.
Andrew Fogg, making his 2013-14 season debut collected two rounds of 78 on his day to sit in 47th place individually.
In addition to Vea competing as an individual, Sean Stone and Andrew Havill did the same. Stone opened with an 81 before checking in with a 71 in his second round to sit in a tie for 29th place. Havill had rounds of 82 and 78 to finish in a tie for 58th place.
The final round will start at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday with teams going off No. 1 and No. 10 tees.
