Indiana Comes In Fifth at Wolf Run Intercollegiate

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. - The Indiana men's golf team climbed up the leaderboard one spot to finish fifth out of 14 teams at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate after a team score of 295 in the final round to give them a total team score for the tournament of 896 (303-295-295).
The round of the day for IU was turned in by Andrew Fogg, who posted a 2-under par round of 69 to put him in a tie for 24th place for the tournament with a total score of 225 (78-78-69). The T24 finish is tied for his third highest career tournament finish.
Just one stroke behind Fogg on the tournament leaderboard was David Mills after firing a 78 in his final round to give him a total score of 226 (74-74-78) and a tie for 28th place - his sixth straight regular season tournament where he has finished inside the top 30. Max Kollin's final round 77 gave him a score of 227 (77-73-77) and a tie for 33rd individually.
Freshman Will Seger came in tied for 37th for the tournament with a total score of 228 (81-73-74) after his final round 78. And then rounding out the lineup was Nicholas Grubnich, who posted a 75 on Sunday to finish with a score of 229 (74-80-75) and a tie for 42nd individually.
Another freshman, Keegan Vea, wrapped up his first collegiate tournament with a 79 to give him a tournament score of 225 (79-76-79), while competing as an individual. Also competing individually was Sean Stone, who also shot a 79 on Sunday to finish tied for 46th with a total score of 231 (81-71-79). The third individual competing for IU was Andrew Havill, who finished tied for 64th with a total score of 242 (82-78-82).
Indiana will be back in action on Oct. 14-15 when they host the Crooked Stick Intercollegiate at Crooked Stick Golf Course in Carmel, Ind.
