The Indiana men's golf team (No. 30 Golfstat/No. 21 Golfweek) is in 15th place after the first round of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational at Isleworth Golf and Country Club. The Hoosiers posted a team total of 308 (+18) in round one.
Round One Results 
Hugo Menendez paced the Hoosiers with a 2-over par 74 in the first round that included two birdies and four bogeys. David Mills was one stroke behind Menendez at 3-over par 75 while Corey Ziedonis came with a 5-over park 77. Rounding out the scores that counted for Indiana was a 8-over par 80 from Michael McGee.
Brant Peaper was the fifth player for Indiana and he carded a 13-over par 85 in his first round.
California, the top ranked team in the country, showed why in the first round, posting a team score of 4-under par 284. Michael Kim, also from California, carded the lowest round of the day with a 5-under par 67.
