Hoosiers, Campillo in Second Place With One Round To Go at Isleworth

WINDERMERE, Fla. - The Indiana University men's golf team remains in second place at the Isleworth UCF Collegiate after shooting a three-under 285 on day two of the elite event. Jorge Campillo and Alex Martin are both in the individual top-five with 18 holes to play.
Indiana is two shots under par for the tournament, just three strokes back from leading Georgia (-5) and four strokes ahead of third-place Alabama. The top three teams tee off for their final round at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Live scoring can be viewed at www.golfstat.com.
On Monday, Martin was the top performer for the Cream and Crimson. Martin tallied five birdies en route to a team-best 68 that vaulted him into a tie for third place in the individual standings. Overall, Campillo leads the Hoosiers, carding scores of 72 and 71. His five-under total slots him second, one shot back from Georgia's Russell Henley at minus-six.
Drew Allenspach matched Campillo's round-two total of 71, pushing him up into a tie for 27th at four-over for the event. Seth Brandon and David Erdy have each contributed one round to the team score. Brandon's opening round of 72, to go along with a 77 on Monday, puts him in 30th place. Erdy improved four strokes in his second round, firing a 75 on day two.
