    Lineup Set for Club De Golf Santa Anita NT Golf Classic

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - With the start of the spring campaign rapidly approaching, Indiana men's golf head coach announced the five-man lineup he will take to the Club De Golf Santa Anita North Texas Golf Classic. The tournament will be hosted by North Texas at the Club De Golf Santa Anita in Guadalajara, Mexico on Sunday and Monday, Feb. 19-20.

    The Hoosiers will send freshmen Jorge Campillo, Drew Allenspach and Seth Brandon along with sophomore Santiago Quirarte and senior Scott Seibert.

    Campillo, the team's top scorer in the fall with a 72.87 scoring average, will play at the No. 1 position. The Caceres, Spain native appeared in all five of the club's fall tournaments, recording four top-25 finishes and producing the team's best finish in four of the five events. Campillo's tie for 14th at the Gopher Invitational (Sept. 17-18), which was his best finish of the fall.

    Quirarte, who hails from Queretaro, Mexico, returns home in the No. 2 spot. The sophomore also appeared in all five fall events and finished second on the club with a 73.33 average. Quirarte carded three top-25 appearances with his best placing at the Wolverine Intercollegiate (Sept. 17-18), where he shared 18th at 218 (72-76-70).

    Allenspach qualified in the third position. He netted five straight top-30 places en route to posting a 73.47 fall average, the third-best mark on the team. With his share of 18th at the Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge (Oct. 3-4), the Sugar Land, Texas product claimed his best finish during the fall.

    Playing at No. 4 is Brandon. The freshman started the first and final events of the fall with an individual appearance sandwiched in-between. In nine rounds, the Dalton, Ga., product netted a 75.00 scoring mark. Brandon collected a tie for 31st place and fired a second-round 69, both season bests, at the Xavier Invitational (Oct. 10-11).

    Rounding out the lineup, Seibert will see action in his fifth tournament of the season. After playing four events in the fall, he claimed a 75.58 scoring average. Seibert, who tied for sixth place at the 2005 Big Ten Championships, earned his top finish of the fall when he shared 30th at the Gopher Invitational with 231.
