The Hoosiers will be part of a 15-team field that will feature a number of other schools ranked highly in the Golfstat rankings. The team include:

    #2 Texas
    #37 Houston (co-host)
    #40 Baylor
    #42 Chattanooga
    #43 South Carolina
    #48 Indiana
    #62 East Carolina
    #69 Louisiana Tech
    #74 Charlotte

Indiana closed out the fall season ranked No. 43 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Top 50, trailing only Illinois and Northwestern among Big Ten teams. In the Golfstat rankings, the Hoosiers checked in at No. 48 this week.

The last time the Hoosiers took to the course as a team, they finished tied for fifth place at the Big Ten Match Play Championships in Bradenton, Fla. Brant Peaper led the way over the three matches with a 2-0-1 mark.

Indiana started by losing a tough 2-1-2 match to Ohio State in the quarterfinals. They dropped to the consolation bracket and took care of Purdue, 3-0-2 before earning a tie with Northwestern in the fifth place match, 2-2-1.
