Overton Notches Top-10 Finish in PGA Tour's Honda Classic

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Former Hoosier Jeff Overton represented Indiana well at this past weekend's PGA Tour stop; posting a ninth-place finish at the Honda Classic. Overton was in contention for the event title until the very end, beginning the final round in a tie for second.
Overton put together rounds of 67, 67, 70 and 73 for a total of 277, six strokes off the lead. Click here for the complete leaderboard.
Overton completed his collegiate career as one of the most storied golfere in the history of Indiana Golf with second team All-America accolades in 2004 and 2005. He was also named Big Ten Player of the Year in both of those seasons.
