    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - In search of back-to-back wins at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate, the No. 26 Indiana men's golf team is enjoying its spring break in Pinehurst, N.C. The Hoosiers will play in the fourth annual Pinehurst Intercollegiate on Sunday-Tuesday, March 16-18.

    Indiana and East Carolina will co-host the tournament at Pinehurst No. 8 (par 72; 7,092 yards). This is the third consecutive season IU has hosted the event.

    Last season, the Hoosiers earned a five-shot victory over Michigan with an 880 (297-293-290). Jorge Campillo claimed medalist honors with a 3-under-par 213 (73-67-73), while teammate Drew Allenspach shared 10th place at 220 (71-74-75).

    Prior to the 2007 event, the Hoosiers captured third-place finishes at the 2005 and 2006 Pinehurst Intercollegiates.

    Pinehurst No. 2 hosted the 2005 U.S. Open won by Michael Campbell, who finished at even par to earn a two-stroke victory over Tiger Woods. Stay tuned to IUHoosiers.com for the Hoosiers lineup and more information leading up to the event.
