TUCSON, Ariz. -
The Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team (No. 28 Golfweek-Sagarin/No. 30 Golfstat) travels to Tucson, Ariz. on March 21-22 to compete in the National Invitational Tournament hosted by the University of Arizona. The Hoosiers enter the event having captured tournament titles in their last three stroke-play competitions.

The event is being held at the Omni Tucson National Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz. at the Catalina Course. The resort has played host to various PGA Tour and NCAA events, such as the Chrysler Classic of Tucson. It has also been previously named in the "75 Best Golf Resorts in North America" by Golf Digest. The Catalina Course is a par-73 with a 7,262 yard layout.
The Hoosiers are among a field that includes 10 teams ranked among the nation's top-75 according to the Golfweek-Sagarin poll. Arizona, Baylor, Colorado State, Kent State, New Mexico, SMU, TCU, Tulsa, UNLV, Utah, UTEP, Wyoming, and Arizona's "B" team are going to be competing in the event.
LAST TIME OUT
Indiana has been out of action since February 21-22 when they won the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate by 12 shots over runner-up William & Mary. Brant Peaper won individual medalist honors after posting a three-round total of three-under par 213. Each of the five Hoosiers competing in the event finished in the top-15.

and the Hoosiers enter the National Invitational Tournament with four players having a scoring average of 74 or less, led by David Erdy's
72.72 mark. Brant Peaper
(73.00), Chase Wright
(73.06), and David Mills
(73.22) have also posted a below-74 average. Each of those players have posted at least four top-25 finishes, with Erdy and Wright having five apiece.
