Mayer Announces Lineup for adidas Hoosier Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana head men's golf coach Mike Mayer has announced his lineup for this weekend's adidas Hoosier Invitational. The Hoosiers will send a five-man lineup and five individuals into the event hosted by the team at the IU Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday.
Indiana's lineup consists of the top-five scorers on the club, and it is the same quintet that captured the Pinehurst Intercollegiate title by 24 shots on March 16-18.
Juniors Jorge Campillo, Seth Brandon and Drew Allenspach will play in the top-three spots. Campillo leads the squad with a 72.50 scoring average and is ranked No. 51 in the nation. Brandon, who enters the event as the 79th-rated collegiate in the country, carries a 72.96 average, ahead of Allenspach's 73.71.
Sophomore Alex Martin brings a 74.21 average into the fourth position, and true freshman Ren Han will play in his third straight tournament as the team's No. 5. Han owns a 75.17 average in nine rounds of action.
In addition to the starting lineup, the Hoosiers will send a group of five individuals on the course. Fifth-year senior Tad Sacheck, senior Santiago Quirarte, junior Brandon Pike, junior Eric Serch and true freshman Paul Park will also get the chance to hit the links.
The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday and conclude the tournament with 18 holes on Sunday. Tee times will start at 8:30 a.m. EDT for round one and 9 a.m. in the third and final round. Admission is free.
