McGee, Perry Post Top-15 Finishes at Butler Spring Invitational

Michael McGee fired a 1-under par 71 (77-71---148) in the final round of the Butler Spring Invitational on Tuesday to tie for 11th, the highest finish of the four members of the Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team competing in the event as individuals at Prestwick Country Club.
McGee's final round 71 is a career-low for the sophomore and the 11th place finish is also a career-best.
Kyle Perry jumped up the leaderboard four spots from his round one position, tying for 15th after posting a 3-over 74 (75-74---149). Perry's top-15 finish is a career-best for the Bloomington, Ind. native.
Purdue won the event with a 578 (288-290), led by individual medalist William Sjaichudin's 136 (66-70).
