PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Indiana sophomore Andrew Fogg was named Big Ten Golfer of the Week on Wednesday (April 10) by the Big Ten Conference. He shot a three round score of 208 (-5) at the NYX Hoosier Invitational to claim medalist honors by one stroke.

It was his first tournament victory of his career as he led the Indiana "B" team to a sixth place finish in the tournament. He opened with a 6-under par 65 in his first round and then carded a 75 in round two. But he came back with another great round on Sunday with a 68 to edge the rest of the field by one stroke.

It is the fourth time that an IU player has been named Golfer of the Week by the Big Ten this season (Brant Peaper - twice, Michael McGee).

The Hoosiers are off this weekend before playing in their final regular season tournament of the year at the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind., on April 20-21.
