COLUMBUS, Ohio -
The Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team (No. 36 Golfstat, No. 40 Golfweek/Sagarin) will travel to Columbus, Ohio to compete in the 2012 Robert Kepler Intercollegiate on April 14-15 at the Scarlet Course, hosted by Ohio State.
The tournament gets underway on Saturday with the first and second rounds beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The final round will take place on Sunday starting with tee times at 8:30 a.m. off No. 1 and No. 10.

The 15-team field for the event includes: Ball State, Bowling Green, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, Kent State, Marshall, Northwestern, Ohio, Ohio State, SMU, Toledo, Western Kentucky, Wright State, and Xavier.
The Scarlet Course at The Ohio State University Golf Club is a 7,455 yard, par-71 layout. The Scarlet course is rated as one of the top collegiate courses in the nation. It was designed by world-renowned golf course architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie. The Scarlet was completed in 1938.
LAST TIME OUT
The Hoosiers hosted the NYX Hoosier Invitational last weekend and finished third in the event with a 1-over 853 (285-285-283). Northwestern, who will also be competing in this week's Kepler Intercollegiate, captured the team title with an 11-under 841. Sophomore David Mills led the way for Indiana, finishing third after a 4-under 209 (70-68-71).
The Hoosiers have displayed remarkable team depth as the 2011-12 season enters the final stretch, as 10 players currently boast a season stroke average under 75. Senior Chase Wright leads the way with a 71.78 average, including four top-10 finishes. Mills' strong NYX Hoosier Invitational performance improved his season mark to 72.33 with a trio of top-10 showings.
After medical setbacks in the fall, senior David Erdy
is rounding into the form that made him a Second Team All-Big Ten honoree a season ago, tying for seventh at the NYX Hoosier Invitational with a 1-under 212 (72-71-69). The Boonville, Ind. native began the spring campaign with an impressive 5-0-1 combined match play record at the Big Ten Match Play Championship and the Callaway Collegiate Match Play Championship.
