BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -
The Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team (No. 35 Golfweek-Sagarin/No. 35 Golfstat) will travel to Urbana, Ill. this weekend for the Illini Spring Classic at Stone Creek Golf Club. The Hoosiers hope to ride the momentum of their third straight adidas Hoosier Invitational team title last weekend as they encounter a 13-team field that includes nine Big Ten squads.
The event will include 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday, both days beginning at 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start. Live scoring will be provided via Golfstat.

The Illini Spring Classic is held at Stone Creek Golf Club in Urbana, Ill. The course is a par-72 (36-36) with a 7,018 yard layout, and has a course rating of 73.9 and a slope of 124.
The 13-team field includes Akron, Creighton, Illinois, Illinois State, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Xavier. According to the Golfweek-Sagarin rankings, the Hoosiers (No. 35) are the third highest-rated team in the event, behind Illinois (No. 12) and Ohio State (No. 22). There are seven teams in the field rated among the top-100 in the nation.
