    MEN'S GOLF IN 10TH PLACE AFTER FIRST DAY AT KEPLER

    COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Indiana University men's golf is in 10th place after the first two rounds at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate in Columbus, Ohio. The Hoosiers fired scores of 307 and 314, over the 7,109 yard, par-72 Scarlett Course, for a total of 621, leaving them 20 strokes behind Northwestern, 601 (301-300) and Wisconsin, 601 (303-298).

    The Hoosiers were led by sophomore Steve Wheatcroft, who is tied for 15th place after shooting rounds of 75 and 77, for a total of 152. Overall leader C.J. Brock of Wisconsin fired rounds of 74 and 74 for a total of 146 and a one stroke lead over of Matt Pumford of Michigan State, 147 (75-72).

    The final 18 holes of competition will begin tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
