    HOOSIERS HEAD OFF TO MICHIGAN INVITE

    Tournament Data: The Indiana men's golf team will take part in the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich., May 2-3. The tournament will consist of 54 holes with 36 to played on Saturday and 18 on Sunday. The course is as par-71 that spans 6,700 yards.

    The Field: The tournament field consists of 18 teams, including all 11 Big Ten squads: Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kent State, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, Miami (Oh.), Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Toledo, and Wisconsin.

    The Hoosiers: Indiana will send Randy Leen, Josh Brewer, John Barry, Corey Sullivan, and Steven Wheatcroft to Michigan. Indiana is coming off an eighth place finish at the Kepler and a tie for third at the Marshall. Leen and Brewer have played in every round for the squad, while Wheatcroft will be making his first start since the Seminole Classic, March 10-11.

    Fantastic to the Fairway: According to Golfstat's statistical rankings, Indiana currently ranks first in the nation in fairways hit (.759).

    A Look Ahead: Following the Wolverine, the Hoosiers will travel to East Lansing, Mich., May 8-10, for the Big Ten Championships. The team has posted seven championship titles and 28 top five finishes in the program's 44 years of existence.

    Rewriting the Record Books: Last season, Randy Leen broke Indiana's all-time single season record by carding a stroke average of 72.0. Leen currently has a 72.8 average which would place him fourth on the list.
