    As the Indiana men's golf team prepares for its third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament, IUHOOSIERS.com will take a look at the five members of the lineup that will compete in the East Regional.

    The Hoosiers will participate out East for the second straight season at the Lake Nona Golf Club in Orlando on Thursday-Saturday, May 18-20. The University of Central Florida and the Central Florida Sports Commission will serve as hosts of the regional.

    The third freshman in the lineup, Seth Brandon, will play in the fourth slot behind freshmen Jorge Campillo and Drew Allenspach and sophomore Santiago Quirarte.

    FRESHMAN YEAR (2005-06)
    Playing in 10 events (30 rounds), posted a 74.27 scoring average ... finished seventh at the Big Ten Championships to lead the Hoosiers and became the first Hoosier freshman since Jeff Overton (2002) to claim a top-10 finish at Big Tens ... netted a career-low round of 66 on the opening 18 at the championships ... became the third freshman in school history to win/or share medalist honors at the Kepler Intercollegiate ... shot a 67 in round one and a 54-hole 215 at the event ... tied for 14th at the Boilermaker Invitational with 225 (78-68-69) ... collected a share of 34th following rounds of 75 and 77 at the rain-shortened Pinehurst Intercollegiate ... recorded a tie for 13th at the spring-opening Santa Anita/NT Classic with 219 (76-68-75) ... posted a 75.00 scoring average in three tournaments (9 rounds) this fall ... best finish of the fall came at the Xavier Invitational, sharing 31st with 217 (74-69-74) ... placed in a tie for 50th at the Wolverine Intercollegiate at 221 (74-71-76) ... opened collegiate career with 237 (78-81-78) at the season-opening NCAA Central Regional Preview.

    PREP/PERSONAL
    Turned in a fifth-place effort at the 2005 Coosa CC Invitational with 144 (72-72) ... 293 total (78-72-73-70) was good for a 29th-place tie at the 2005 Georgia Amateur ... tied for 29th at the 2005 Western Junior with 287 (75-70-68-74) ... won the 2003 individual state title at the Tennessee State High School Championship, where he set an all-time scoring record after shooting a 12-under-par 130 (63-67) ... on the first day of the championship, shot an 8-under-par 63 to tie the course record at the Nicklaus Bear Trace Course ... in 2004, finished second individually at the state championship, helping his team win the title by two shots ... 2003 Chattanooga Times-Free Press Player of the Year led The Baylor School to the team title in 2003 at the prestigious McDonalds Tournament of Champions ... won the individual title and shot a 4-under 140 (72-68) at the event ... second team selection on the FCWT 2003-04 All-America team ... earned medalist honors at the 2003 Golden Horseshoe Junior Championship with 219 (72-76-71) ... finished second at the Sea Island Junior Classic and netted a third top 10 following a ninth-place showing at the Tanglewood Junior Championship ... named to the Georgia team and competed against South Carolina in the Georgia-South Carolina Cup Match Play event, where he posted a 1-1 record ... born on April 18, 1987 ... plans to study business ... parents Steve and Sharon Brandon • one sister, Sara.
