    As the Indiana men's golf team prepares for its third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament, will take a look at the five members of the lineup that will compete in the East Regional.

    The Hoosiers will participate out East for the second straight season at the Lake Nona Golf Club in Orlando on Thursday-Saturday, May 18-20. The University of Central Florida and the Central Florida Sports Commission will serve as hosts of the regional.

    Senior Brad Marek rounds out the Hoosiers' NCAA lineup. Following freshman Jorge Campillo (No. 1) and Drew Allenspach (No. 2), sophomore Santiago Quirarte will play in the No. 3 position and freshman Seth Brandon will occupy the fourth spot.

    SENIOR YEAR (2005-06)
    Played the final three tournaments and collected a 76.13 average in five events (16 rounds) ... in his first career appearance at the Big Ten Championships, tied for 18th and matched a career-low 18-hole (69 in round three) and 54-hole (217) total ... garnered the best finish of his career with a tie for 11th at the Kepler Intercollegiate with 224 (72-74-78) ... played in two events in the fall, tying for 54th at the Gopher Invitational with 240 and sharing 57th at the Big Ten Pac-10 Challenge at 231.

    SUMMER (2005)
    Captured medalist honors at the Illinois State Amateur, the Joliet Amateur and the North Shore Amateur while sharing first place at the CDGA Amateur, qualifying for the CDGA Amateur and qualifying for the U.S. Public Links ... tied for 22nd during stroke play and advanced to the quarterfinals of match play at the U.S. Amateur Public Links ... advanced to the semifinals of match play at the CDGA Amateur ... tied for third at the Mike Sipula Memorial ... tied for 10th at the local U.S. Open qualifier (fourth alternate) and tied for third at the U.S. Amateur qualifier (first alternate).

    JUNIOR YEAR (2004-05)
    All-America Scholar netted a 75.68 average in 22 rounds ... matched a new career best with 217 (75-69-73) en route to tying for 26th at the Pioneer Classic ... his second-round 69 at the Pioneer equaled his career-low 18-hole score ... tied for 21st at the Hyatt Plantation Club Intercollegiate with a 220 total (72-76-72) ... participated in all five of the Hoosiers' tournaments in the fall ... garnered best finish at the Radrick Farms Intercollegiate, tying for 24th at 221 (75-77-69) ... his final-round 69 is a career best ... tied for 35th at the Central Regional Preview with 227 (81-71-75) ... Academic All-Big Ten selection.

    SUMMER (2004)
    Carded second place at the Joliet Amateur ... finished tied for 11th at the Illinois Open ... closed out the Western Amateur tied for 45th.

    SOPHOMORE YEAR (2003-04)
    Averaged a 76.11 in six tournaments (18 rounds) ... finished tied for 16th at the Steve Kerr Invitational with 221 (78-71-72) ... tied for 42nd at the Boilermaker Invitational at 225 (75-74-76) ... tallied three-round total of 228 (77-76-75) en route to a tie for 52nd at the Hoosier Invitational ... Academic All-Big Ten selection.

    SUMMER (2003)
    Finished tied for 18th at the Western Junior Championship.

    FRESHMAN YEAR (2002-03)
    Carded a 74.09 stroke average in 11 rounds ... won El Diablo 21-Man Individual ... shot 141 (70-71) at the event ... recorded a tie for 28th at Northern Intercollegiate with 217 (74-71-72) ... tallied a 74, finishing tied for fourth at one-day Shootout at Belmont ... tied for 52nd at Big Red Classic with 151 (77-74).

    Named 2002 Illinois Junior Golf Association's Player of the Year ... took first place in the Illinois State Junior Championship ... two-time qualifier for the U.S. Junior Amateur ... advanced to match play in the 2001 U.S. Junior Amateur ... four-year letterwinner at Hersey ... three-time MVP ... three-time all-conference ... two-time state qualifier ... born on November 26, 1983 ... business major ... parents Wayne and Diane Marek.
