Campillo, a senior from Caceres, Spain, recently won his second Big Ten Player of the Year award. He has three wins this college season and three other top-five finishes. He has placed outside the top 10 just three times in 12 starts. Campillo, the reigning Spanish Amateur champ, finished second at last year's NCAA Championship and made the quarterfinals of the British Amateur.
Fowler, a sophomore from Murrieta, Calif., is looking to become the first repeat winner of the Hogan Award. Fowler was a first-team All-Big 12 selection this year, during which he claimed the Aggie Invitational and posted four other top-fives. In 2008, Fowler was medalist at the World Amateur Team Championship, captured his second consecutive Sunnehanna Amateur, and made the cut at the U.S. Open.
Stanley, a junior from Gig Harbor, Wash., opened this college season with a victory at the Carpet Capital Collegiate. He also has five other top-10 finishes. In amateur golf, Stanley won his second Southern Amateur in 2008 and won the Jones Cup earlier this year. He tied for seventh at last year's NCAA Championship and advanced to match play at the U.S. Amateur, Western Amateur and North & South Amateur.
