"To have 105 Academic All-Big Ten honorees speaks volumes about the quality of our student-athletes, coaches and academic support staff," said IU Vice President and Director of Athletics Fred Glass.
Junior softball player Kelsey Brannon was one of 18 Big Ten student-athletes to maintain a 4.0 grade point average. Indiana women's track and field had 20 honorees. Men's track and field had 18 honorees, men's golf and softball each boasted eight honorees, baseball had seven honorees, women's tennis had five honorees, while men's tennis and water polo boasted four honorees each.
