The 17 golfers battled in a playoff for the six remaining match play slots, but Martin fell short.
The Middletown, Ohio, native carded a 4-over 74 on Monday and wrapped up Tuesday's postponed round on Wednesday morning at 3-over par. Jason Kokrak of Warren, Ohio, claimed medalist honors with a 69-68, 137 total.
Martin has had an impressive run this summer. Along with qualifying for the U.S. Amateur, he finished third overall and as the low amateur at the Ohio Open Championship.
