IU Men's Golf Earns GCAA All-Academic Team Status for 2010-11

NORMAN, Okla. - The Indiana University men's golf team was named an All-Academic Team for their achievements in the classroom during the 2010-11 campaign, announced by the Golf Coaches Assocation of America (GCAA).
To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college or university must submit the grade points earned and hours attempted for each player on its official squad list for the academic year. The team must post a 3.00 GPA or higher to be eligible.
"It's always great to get recognized for your academic achievements," said Indiana head coach Mike Mayer. "We take great pride in what we do, both in the classroom and on the golf course. It's an honor that the Golf Coaches Association of America has recognized our program as one of the top academic programs in the country."
