    3 - David Mills
    4 - Brant Peaper
    5 - John Beringer

Rich Harvest Farms is a par-72 and plays 7,656 yards from the back tees. The venue was listed among The Rolex World's Top 1000 Golf Courses and has earned multiple Golf Digest awards in the past decade.

The Hoosiers are among three Big Ten teams in the 16-team field, which includes: Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Florida, Eastern Michigan, East Tennessee State, Illinois, Illinois State, Indiana, Miami of Ohio, Northern Illinois, Purdue, St. Francis, Toledo, Tulsa, and Virginia Tech. Six teams in the field were ranked in the top-60 at the end of last season according to Golfstat, headlined by No. 7 Illinois.

A quick look down the 2011-12 roster and it's clear that the Hoosiers have a wealth of experience at their disposal. Head coach Mike Mayer welcomes back the top-nine players from a season ago, including the dynamic senior duo of David Erdy and Chase Wright. Erdy (73.34) and Wright (73.45) enter the season in 3rd and 4th in the IU record book for lowest career stroke average.

Junior Brant Peaper and sophomore David Mills also return after being mainstays in the Indiana lineup last season. Peaper posted a 74.03 stroke average in 2010-11 and captured the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate title. Mills had a stellar debut campaign, recording the second lowest freshman scoring average in school history (73.83).

Andrew Fogg, competing as an individual this weekend, and Nicholas Grubnich are the two additions to the IU roster this season. Both bring a wealth of premiere junior golf experience and look to challenge for spots in the lineup throughout the campaign. Each finished in the top-50 of the AJGA Rolex Junior rankings and earned multiple Indiana All-State honorees.

Coach Mayer sat down with earlier this week to give his outlook on the 2011-12 season. The video can be viewed here.
