Hoosiers Tied for Fourth at the Windon Memorial

SKOKIE, Ill. - The Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team is tied for fourth after posting a 3-over 283 in the opening round at the Windon Memorial on Sunday. The second round was suspended due to darkness at Evanston Golf Club, with play resuming on Monday morning, immediately followed by final round play.
Arkansas and Northwestern are tied atop the leader board with scores of 6-under 274, followed by Eastern Michigan one stroke back. The Hoosiers share the fourth place position with UCLA and Purdue.
Freshman Andrew Fogg and senior Chase Wright posted even-par 70s to tie for 18th in the opening round to lead the Cream and Crimson. Fogg's round ended with a bang as he eagled his finishing hole, the par-5 sixth. Wright continued his consistent play, recording two birdies en route to his 70.
Sophomore David Mills fired a 1-over 71 and is tied for 26th. The Evansville, Ind. native began the day with a birdie-eagle start, but had a stretch of four bogeys in five holes during the middle portion of his round.
Junior Corey Ziedonis, competing as an individual, posted a 4-over 74 and is tied for 61st.
