    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Upon completion of the fall season, the Indiana men's golf freshman class sits fourth in Golfstat's Freshman Class Impact Ranking. Drew Allenspach, Seth Brandon, Jorge Campillo and Brandon Pike accounted for 14 of the 25 total spots in the lineup during the Hoosiers' five fall events. South Carolina led the rankings followed by Georgia and Troy.

    The foursome combined for a 73.80 average, headlined by Campillo's team-leading 72.87 mark. The Caceres, Spain, native appeared in all five of the club's tournaments, recording four top-25 finishes and producing the team's best finish in four of the five events. Campillo's tie for 14th at the Gopher Invitational (Sept. 17-18) was his best finish of the fall.

    Allenspach netted five straight top-30 places en route to posting a 73.47 average, the third-best mark on the team. With his share of 18th at the Big Ten/Pac-10 Challenge (Oct. 3-4), Allenspach claimed his best finish during the fall.

    Brandon started the first and final events of the fall with an individual appearance sandwiched in-between. In nine rounds, the Dalton, Ga., product netted a 75.00 scoring mark. He collected a tie for 31st place and fired a second-round 69, both season bests, at the Xavier Invitational (Oct. 10-11).

    Appearing in two tournaments, Pike posted an average of 75.17. He garnered his best round of the season with a 70 at the Wolverine Intercollegiate (Sept. 24-25).

    The freshmen and the rest of the Hoosiers return to action by kicking off their spring season on foreign soil. Indiana travels to Guadalajara, Mexico, opening the campaign on Feb. 19-20, 2006 at the Club De Golf Santa Anita North Texas Classic.
