Indiana to Close Out Fall Season at UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Closing out its fall season, the Indiana men's golf team travels to the UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate on Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 29-30, in Greensboro, N.C. The field feature eleven schools ranked in Golfweek's Top 50 rankings, including the 17th-rated Hoosiers.
North Carolina-Greensboro will host the event at the Forest Oaks Country Club, which is set up as a par 72 with a yardage of 7,197. The UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate consists of three rounds, 36 holes played on Monday and the final 18 holes taking place on Tuesday.
Thirteen teams will join UNC-Greensboro and No. 17 Indiana in the field, including No. 22 Arkansas, No. 33 Central Florida, the College of Charleston, No. 43 Kent State, No. 27 Louisville, No. 47 LSU, Maryland, No. 39 Memphis, No. 37 Mississippi State, No. 23 North Carolina, No. 49 Notre Dame, Toledo and No. 18 Wake Forest. Eleven of the 15 schools in the field are ranked in Golfweek's Top 50 rankings.
Tournament play begins Monday with a shotgun first-round start at 8:30 a.m. EDT. The second 18 opens with a shotgun start following the completion of the opening round. On Tuesday, the final round commences with teams teeing off from the 1st and 10th tees at 8:30 a.m.
Forest Oaks Country Club is the home of the PGA Tour's Wyndham Championships. At this season's Wyndham, former Hoosier All-American Jeff Overton (2002-05) finished in a tie for second place.
