The Hoosiers: Coach Mike Mayer will take the same line-up that finished second at the Xavier Intercollegiate two weeks ago. Brent Landry, Steve Wheatcroft, John Barry, Rich Thomas and Corey Sullivan.
Mayer is expecting his team to continue their solid play from Xavier, but concedes that the winter break will be a nice rest for the team.
"Hopefully we can go out and play the way we're capable of and make the winter break that much nicer," he said. "It's been a very demanding stretch for them and they're ready for a break."
In the second round of the Xavier, Landry fired a 65, tying an IU record for lowest round in tournament play. Landry, who has the team's lowest scoring average (72), went on to finish tied for fourth.
Steve Wheatcroft is next on the scoring list at 73. Wheatcroft also improved his average at the Xavier, where he finished tied for 18th.
Behind Wheatcroft is Rich Thomas. Playing in his first collegiate tournament, Thomas finished with a share of 26th place while averaging 73.6 over the three round event.
John Barry has played solid all season, averaging 74.2. He hasn't shot over 80 once this year, shooting in the 70's all nine rounds played.
Corey Sullivan rounds out the Hoosiers line up. Sullivan carries a 75.3 average into the Nelson.
