Hoosiers to Conclude Fall Season at Kiawah Island Intercollegiate

The Indiana University men's golf team will wrap up their fall season as they travel to Kiawah Island, S.C. to compete in the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate at Turtle Point Golf Course on November 1-2.
Turtle Point Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, has recently been rated 48th on Golf Digest's 100 Greatest Public Golf Course List.
The 54-hole event will be broken up into two days with the first 36 holes to be played on Monday, November 1 and the final 18 set for Tuesday, November 2. There will also be live scoring for the event at www.golfstat.com.
The Hoosiers are currently rated 33rd in the most recent GolfStat rankings and will be among a 14-team field at Kiawah Island. The complete field for the event includes: Bethune-Cookman, Butler, Campbell, Charleston Southern, College of Charleston, George Washington, Indiana, Longwood, Presbyterian, South Carolina, Stetson, Towson, Western Illinois, and Western Kentucky.
Indiana is coming off of a victory at the Firestone Invitational on October 11-12 after firing a 15-under par 849 to finish one shot ahead of runner-up Notre Dame. Junior David Erdy captured medalist honors in the event, finishing with a nine-under 207 (70-65-72).
Erdy will be playing the No. 1 position for the Hoosiers, while fellow junior Chase Wright will be in the No. 2 spot. Freshman David Mills will compete in the No. 3 position, followed by sophomores Brant Peaper at No. 4 and Kyle Perry at No. 5. Freshman Hugo Menendez will compete as an individual.
