Outstanding Fall Propels Wright and Mills in the Rankings

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Senior Chase Wright and sophomore David Mills have risen up the individual rankings after putting together impressive fall campaigns and helping to lead the Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team to top-5 team finishes in four out of five events, including a title at the Firestone Invitational.
Wright is currently rated as the No. 42 player in collegiate golf, according to the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Individual Rankings, while Mills checks in at No. 125.
Wright is also rated among the top amateur players in the world, landing at No. 63 in the Royal & Ancient World Amateur Golf Rankings, with Mills coming in at No. 625.
During the fall season, Wright registered four top-10 finishes, including a runner-up showing at Firestone. The Muncie, Ind. native has a team-best 71.67 season stroke average and an overall head-to-head record of 356-42-11 in the five events.
Mills has also been a consistent force, recording an average of 72.67 and a record of 307-83-19. He posted a pair of top-10 finishes and placed 36th of better in each event.
