    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana men's golf head coach Mike Mayer has been named to the NCAA Midwest Regional Advisory Committee. The committee consists of four members and is chaired by Jamie Mauntler (University of Toledo).

    Mayer will serve a four-year term, during which one of the years he will serve as chair. In addition to Mayer and Mauntler, Mark Crabtree (University of Louisville) and Mike Small (University of Illinois) make up the four-man committee.

    The committee's responsibilities include selecting six teams from the Midwest Region who will receive bids into the NCAA postseason. This is Mayer's first time on the committee.
