Mike Sanich is in his first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Hoosiers.
Sanich has earned a reputation as one of the foremost goalkeeper coaches in the Midwest. He is currently a volunteer staff goalkeeper coach for the State of Indiana and a staff coach with U.S. Youth Soccer's Region II Olympic Development Program. His long career in Indiana as both a player and coach stretches back to the early 1970s.
In 1996, Sanich started in the professional field when he joined the staff of the Indiana Blast of the USISL.
Sanich's coaching resume includes stints with Butler University, DePauw University, Wabash College and IUPUI.
In addition to lending his expertise in the field of goalkeeper training to Indiana University, Sanich also brings an extensive background in strength and conditioning.
