    2014 (SOPHOMORE)

    Saw his first career action in a 2-1 win over SMU ... also took the field in a 1-0 OT loss to No. 9 UCLA ... made his third appearance of the year in a 2-1 OT loss at No. 18 UAB ... scored his first career goal and tallied three shots in a 5-4 2OT loss to West Virginia ... assisted on a pair of goals, including the game winner, in a 4-1 victory over Bakersfield... also had two shots in the game ... had a pair of shots, one on frame, in a 2-0 win over Ohio State ... assisted on both of brother Tommy's goals in a 4-3 loss at Wisconsin ... made his first career start in a 3-0 loss to No. 7 Louisville ... hit one of Indiana's five penalty kicks in a 5-3 shootout advancement over Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament semifinal ... finished the year with one goal and four assists ... appeared in 19 matches.


    Named the 2011 Sierra Foothill League MVP after helping the Grizzlies to the league title ... holds the Granite Bay record for assists in a season with 21 ... as a sophomore Thompson led the Grizzlies to the 2010 Sac-Joaquin sectional championship and finished the season with eight goals and 12 assists ... in his four seasons at Granite Bay, the Grizzlies lost just one league match ... parents are Gregg and Nelle Thompson ... older brother Tyler plays soccer at Stanford ... also has a younger brother (Tommy) and sister (Tatum) ... Tommy played one season at Indiana (2013) ... his father was co-captain of Indiana's first NCAA title team in 1982, scoring both goals in a 2-1, eight-overtime win over Duke ... his cousin, Bobby De St. Aubin, also played for the Hoosiers and was part of the 2000 and 2001 College Cup teams ... born Aug. 12, 1994.
