MADISON, Wis. - The sixth-ranked Indiana men's soccer team's unbeaten streak came to an end Sunday afternoon at the McClimon Soccer Complex as the Wisconsin Badgers took a 2-0 victory in Big Ten action.

Indiana is now 6-0-2 on the season and 1-1 in Big Ten play. Wisconsin improves to 5-3-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

Wisconsin took a 1-0 lead with 36:34 to play on a goal from Tomislav Zadro. The sequence began with a corner kick that Nick Janus headed off the cross bar. The ball bounced out to Zadro on the left, who sent a shot into the lower right for the score.

The Hoosiers had a chance to knot the game at 1-all when Jacob Bushue was taken down in the box and a penalty kick was awarded. Harrison Petts took the kick for the Hoosiers, but UW goalkeeper Max Jentsch went down to his right for the save.

Janus put the game away for good for the Badgers with a shot to the lower right that got past IU goalkeeper Luis Soffner for the 2-0 lead.

Indiana out-shot Wisconsin 13-6, and took six corner kicks to four for UW. Senior Chris Estridge led the Hoosiers with three shots, while freshman Eriq Zavaleta, senior Alec Purdie and sophomore Jacob Bushue had two each.

Indiana's first dangerous chance came with 37:30 to play in the first half as Jentsch saved a crossing shot from Estridge. With less than seven minutes to go in the half, Estridge had another shot attempt, sending in a low, hard shot that nearly made its way through the defense.

The Hoosiers had the better of the possession and controlled the temp but could not sneak a ball through in the first 45 minutes. Indiana entered the break with a 6-2 advantage in shot attempts and had five corner kicks to none for the Badgers.
