Tickets on Sale for Men's Soccer Match with Mexico

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Tickets for the Indiana University men's soccer match against the U-20 Mexican National Team on April 29, at 2 p.m. ET are now on sale at the IU Ticket Office.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youths and college students. Children under six are admitted free, and college students must have a student ID to purchase a youth ticket.
You can purchase your tickets by calling the IU Ticket Office at 1-866-IUSPORTS (1-866-487-7678) or by visiting the ticket office located in the lobby of Assembly Hall. Hours of operation for the ticket office are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Early next week tickets will also be available for purchase through Ticketmaster.
This is the sixth meeting between the squads with Indiana holding a 2-3 record against its Mexican counterparts. The international friendly last took place in 2010, with the Hoosiers posting a 2-0 victory behind goals from Tyler McCarroll and Will Bruin in front of a crowd of 4,125. It marked the first shutout for the Hoosiers in the series.
In 2008, Mexico came away with a 2-0 victory in front of nearly 5,000 fans. In 2007 the U-20 Mexican National Team down the Hoosiers by a 2-0 score in front of a crowd of 6,000 fans. Javier Hernandez (Chicharito), current Mexican National Team star and starter for Manchester United, scored the first goal in that match.
Mexico won the first game in 2005 by the score of 2-1, with Heriberto Beltran scoring the game-winner in the 82nd minute. The Tricolores would go on to win the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Cup that summer.
