BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - After Friday's 2-0 win over No. 22 SIUE, midfielder Jacob Bushue was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, while defender Caleb Konstanski was named the co-Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Bushue tallied his first goal of the season with a strike in the 71st minute that gave Indiana a 2-0 lead. He also played a part in the game-winning goal, flicking the ball on to Konstanski for the score.

Konstanski's second goal of the season was also his first game winner. He gave Indiana a 1-0 lead over SIUE in the 56th minute, corralling the ball from Bushue on a play that began with a corner kick from A.J. Corrado. The center back also played a key defensive role in the Hoosiers' fourth shutout in seven matches this season. Konstanski shares the defensive award with Wisconsin's Chase Rau.

Indiana (5-1-1) opens Big Ten play on Sunday, Sept. 23 as it travels to Columbus, Ohio to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. The 1 p.m. ET match will be shown live on the Big Ten Network.
